A Road to BushPackers....

The fascinating journey of kruger national park of 448 kilometres started with a saturday morning drive with 8 ppl, in two cars, on a road to N12. N12 which further links to N4 till Nelspruit in east, was our first freeway. But as always, Indians act pretty smart everywhere, our N12 journey went towards south-west to Potchefstroom, en-route to capetown, taking us 200 kms away from joburg. The time we realized our fortune, after a punctured tyre, it was already 9:30 making us 2 hrs away from our destination.

A fresh noveau voyage started after some drinks and pees towards east N12, with a tightened time-line with us. Our first pit stop in the correct direction was 'Middleburg' passing Ogies and Witbank. The food and drinks @ Steers gave a big smile to all our guys for our next desti. that was Nelspruit on N4. Back on the big wheel with a gear in hand of black metallic honda, the drive was one of the most amazing and enthralling for me to keep this moment deep in my history books. The stretch of R538 between White River and Hazyview is so vibrant and mesmerizing that one cant even ignore, if blind. Amazing pine trees on both sides of the road, an orange ball far straight in horizon, sliver roads and icy breeze; 140 touching in speedo with more than 20 curves, nothing more I could have dreamt off.

From R538 Hazyview, we took a left towards Sabie on R536, with only 5 miles away from our accomadation. Our accomadation was built inside a dark forest, surrounding big bushes and shoots all around making the complete cottage cum hostel as a big trekking camp, justly named by Mrs. Francis as 'THE BUSHPACKERS'.
